ATT CPNI opt out, number is busy….

Category: General TopicGeorge Wilson @ 3:13 pm

ATT sends out a note about Customer Privacy (CPNI), Customer Proprietary Network Information. You need to call the number on the card within 33 days and tell them that you do not want them to use your customer information to offer you additional services. (Opt out).

I called the number on the card today for about 2 hours! Guess what, the line is always busy. 1-800-377-9290

11/26/08 - Update: Okay, I finally got through, funny part it is a voice recorder, you must say your name and phone number. WOW what poor customer service.

Sad Day

Category: General TopicGeorge Wilson @ 10:31 pm

I was deleting a contact out of my email/address book today. He is a neighbor /friend who passed away a few weeks ago. My heart goes out to his two sons, family and friends, he was so young and such a super person. As I deleted his contact information, I felt as if I was erasing my last and only link to him. It felt wrong and I stopped, I will save it for the next time I am doing an address book clean up.

I also worked with two people who have both lost son’s in the Iraqi war. I think about them often. I am sorry the world can be so cruel at times and so joyful at other times.

You are all in our thoughts.
You are all in our hearts.
You are all in our prayers.

The Wilson Family
