ATT CPNI opt out, number is busy….
ATT sends out a note about Customer Privacy (CPNI), Customer Proprietary Network Information. You need to call the number on the card within 33 days and tell them that you do not want them to use your customer information to offer you additional services. (Opt out).
I called the number on the card today for about 2 hours! Guess what, the line is always busy. 1-800-377-9290
11/26/08 - Update: Okay, I finally got through, funny part it is a voice recorder, you must say your name and phone number. WOW what poor customer service.

Found a number that works, just happened to see your post in a Google search. Call 1-800-645-6309 instead of the number on the card.

When I called the 1-800-645-6309 SAHIB answered the phone and transferred me to 888-757-6500 to handle the CPNI restriction.
It is obvious that ATT does not want us to use CPNI restriction.

Finally got Ms. Carter to respond and turned out to be the Customer Care phone. So basically, just call your Customer Care numbers to get the CPNI restricted.
